11 years late
Remember the “All your base are belong to us” meme? That came to my attention 6 years after it started making the rounds.
Well, yesterday I discovered another meme in which I’m 11 years late to the party…enjoy, and don’t dance too hard…

Why didn’t the snakes just eat the hampsters? I was *so* hoping the snakes was going to put me out of this time wasting misery.

Okay, I’ve seen it before but only in the original, tinny version. That’s some quality stereo, there. And hearing it as for the first time I suddenly realized how cool it would be to have a Blackhawk helicopter with 20mm cannon and put this on loudspeakers BLASTING at 140 db as you screamed in and strafed some Tango Mike Foxtrot’s base. I realize that the basic idea is not original but the selection of music surely is.

DUDE! The Hampster Dance. A coworker showed me the original site back in 98 or 97 can’t quite remember now. But it is awesome to see the hampsters again. Blunderprone, how dare you! Show some love to the Hampsters! Although I must confess I didn’t understand why the snakes just didn’t eat the hampsters myself.

@Blunderprone: You don’t have to be a grumpy old man all the time ya know.
@Wahrheit: If 140dB isn’t fatal, it’s getting pretty darn close!
@wang: I’m not sure how many people missed the “snake like to eat hamsters” irony.
