A night of legends

(If you wish to watch the whole thing, the entire Mafia vs Ninja playlist)

What would be the perfect Bad Movie Night? For me, I’d be happy with 3 of the following. Let me know your suggestions!
Q: Did I forget any of our favorites?

The night is incomplete without at least one of these four:

Troll 2
Sakura Killers
Sinbad of the Seven Seas (the Lou Ferrigno one)
Mafia vs. Ninja

Unfortunately, these aren’t common finds, although Troll 2 has gained a slight degree of fame (it’s on iTunes).

Other Legends

Leonard, Part 6
Gymkata
Kung Fu vs. Yoga
Santa With Muscles

I don’t find these legendarily bad (but they are bad and many others consider them legendary)

Howard the Duck
Plan 9 From Outer Space

I’ve never been able to watch the entire thing. (Girls and/or alcohol may give me the necessary fortitude to complete watching them, although that is not a guarantee.)

Hootch County Boys, aka the Great Lester Boggs. (I have tried to watch this movie at least 3 times, and never got more than halfway through. I don’t how Q did it.)
Baby Geniuses 2

The Alternate is one really bad movie that comes to mind…

Nice, a 2.1 rating. I’ll check it out!

Even the plot is badly written see? It’s in engrish :)

      Speaking of bad films, we have a “week of the bad films” right now on Dutch TV in which 7 Golden Rasberry Award winning movies will be aired. Here is the list;
Battlefield Earth: A Saga of the Year 3000
      Striptease
(Demi Moore makes it watchable though)
      Freddy Got Fingered
(Haven’t seen it myself because i’m not really into the genre)
      Color of Night
      Dirty Love
(Haven’t seen this one myself for the same reasons as FGF. But i see it’s got some hot chicks in it so i might watch it sometime)
      Under the Cherry Moon
      Showgirls
(I actually thought it was quite hot. Berkley, Gershon mmmm)

Battlefield Earth! Yes! How could I have forgotten about that one?

The “week of bad films” is a brilliant idea…which the number of channels in the US, it must happen once in a while.

I’m impressed by your courage – Plan 9 routinely gets labeled as the worst movie ever. I haven’t seen it but enjoyed the clip I saw from the Johnny Depp thing. I mean in the sense that one enjoys such things.

Another I haven’t seen but suspect to be list-worthy is Gator Bait. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sO420_tW8mQ

Oh (call me a post whore, I don’t care), the most painful mainstream movie I’ve ever seen was Mission to Mars.

At one point it was on Rotten Tomatoes lowest-ranked list, along with the Lucy Liu – Antonio Banderas thriller Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever.

Gator Bait looks like something they used in Guantanamo as an “enhanced interrogation technique”.

Maybe I’m thinking of a different Mars movie, but Mission to Mars wasn’t dreadful. Or maybe it just looked good compared to “The Wizard of Mars”.

The scene where Tim Robbins puts on his “I can’t believe I signed up for this movie” face and removes his space helmet? Augh, please.

OK, I yield…I was thinking of “Apollo 13″, which was a smidgen better.
