A personal touch
Once in a while, we’ll see or read first-person stories relating to some news event. Sometimes, it feels like the reporter is too much a part of the story, and it just gets in the way.
I like the style Al Jazeera has in these stories…there’s no commentary given by a journalist, except for a few sentences of background in the beginning (who they’re talking to, from where, and what about).
