A problem with automatically generated ads is the potential for not-so-strategic ad placement.

For example, the juxtaposition of this particular ad and news story cannot fail to be memorable.

    From your autoquote thingy:
“We already thought of that, but we can’t use a binary search because we’re storing strings, not binary data.”

A problem with automatically generated quotes is the potential for not-so-strategic quote placement.

For example, the juxtaposition of this particular post and quote cannot fail to be recursive.

see, it’s funny cause the headline is about chicks being stoned, and the picture has two guys with rocks. no doubt they were crack rocks, and they were gonna light them up and get stoned, so it’s funny….

What got me was the face on the older guy as he is about to cast his stone. It really isn’t funny… and yet I laughed intermittently for at least two minutes.

@Tacticus: LOL. It took me a second to get before realizing that’s the only quote from The Daily WTF in the not-so-wise quote bin.

@chessloser: Yes, sir, that would definitely be a father to look up to.

@l3rucewayne: The man looks as happy as he can be. And the baby’s expression was priceless. It’s probably the kind of thing I’ll look at once a month and just laugh my head off.
