Help for guys who want to pick up a chick in Spanish

10 Things to Say in Spanish to Pick Up a Girl

Anyone who recommends asking “How old are you?” or “What is your favorite color?” to pick up a chick… Seriously, I’m not sure how to react to that.

  1. Que es tu nombre?!?! Spanish is not my native language but everything I’ve learned says it’s “como se llama”. “que es tu nombre” sounds like Spanglish.

I was looking at the comments… hahaha man them’s some nasty cuss words.

Personally, I don’t think it’s a good idea to pick up a girl in a foreign language. I was in palm beach with my girlfriends and this pathetic white guy said “thank you, I’m a white boy” in a desperate attempt to flirt with us. He didn’t even ask if we were Vietnamese or Chinese or what. Lucky he guessed right.

  2. how do you say “are your parents home?” in spanish? that’s my favorite pick up line, right after “hey, does this look infected?”

  3. @Annie: “Carolina” is obviously not a native speaker.

Definitely with you on the foreign language pickup. I would have loved to see video of that whitey trying to flirt with y’all. The concept sounds pathetic, and what if you end up Engrishing the target language?

@Chessloser: Maybe you should make a post a video on YouTube of 10 Things to Say in English to Pick Up a Girl.
