It must not be obvious to the Russians
As transparent as the findings of the UT researchers must seem to us (see prior post), this point seems to have been lost on Russian youth.
If you aren’t aware, Russia’s population is falling, and is projected to keep doing so for the foreseeable future.
A Kremlin-backed youth organization called Nashi (meaning “Ours”) has apparently been trying to get youth to procreate for the country. And is accused of more sinister actions, sometimes likened to the Hitler Youth. I’m soglad I’m not living in Russia.

What an odd dichotomy. We have China restricting and even aborting births, and Russia playing “bong chika wong wong” music so teens will boom boom. *sigh*

That’s exactly the population problems you end up with when you fight two world wars with the strategy of:
1) Have faith in your pitch forks (WW1) and
2) Giving a gun to one man, ammo the other and letting the enemy “correct” your gun shortage problems (WW2)
