@Annie: Yeah, there are a bunch of Middle Eastern/Jewish/Indian places on Hillcroft, and I couldn’t decide which one looked the most tempting. So I’ll take your suggestion.

@Derek: I just need to start practicing photographing plastic foods, like all the restaurants do.

You must needs visit Bombay Sweets on Hillcroft. Buffet style, they have rice, chutneys, and various meats. The “craphole plaza” rule applies. Oh and if you go after dark, bring a flak vest and spray your car with mace to ward off thieves. Sorry, I can do stinky tofu, but beyond samosas and maybe roti, i just can’t do indian.

@chessloser: Your skepticism is, if not validated, certainly understandable. I first tried it during my few month “reduced meat” diet, and am sure glad of it.

I’m not exactly sure what to make of your marrying food comment.

@Annie: Bananas and pickles, at the very least, are male.

Boy, you’re missing out on Indian food.

@BDK: You too, huh? I kinda had to spread it around the plate before eating to avoid that imagery.

Why do you have to be a chick to marry palak paneer? What, is all food male? Are males the only one who can be food? How sexist is that? You disappoint me CL. I thought we could be friends ’cause you have the same initials as my husband but you may make my “sworn enemy” list now. haha

i LOVE palak paneer. if it were a chick, i’d marry it so i could eat it every night (take that any way you choose). i’ glad it tasted good enough to eat again, but i am still a bit skeptical about indian food out of a box…
