People reacting to the Benoit situation

One sentence recap: Chris Benoit killed his wife and 7-year-old son over the weekend, then killed himself.

I find it very strange that some people seem to think that killing his son was more heinous than killing his wife. Isn’t it the same crime?

Actually what really bothers me is the fact that he killed them over a period of time.

Does that mean the wife didn’t know the son was killed?

Then again, I thought I read that she was tied up. In that case, did that mean that she knew the son was killed but couldn’t do anything about it for hours?

may they all rest in peace. come on donnie, which is sadder, a child who hasn’t had a chance to live a full life, or an adult who has had some opportunity to experience stuff? the saddest part isn’t the deaths. it’s the fact that there was no one to help.

Allen: don’t remember the details. The wife was tied up, and I think she was killed first.

Annie: That ties in with some thoughts I had the other day. Too long to get into now (I’m at work), but may be good IM material.

I agree with annie about the child. He never got a chance to live.
