Preparing for when Beijing takes over in 2025

Take that!

1. All you Boston sports fans, take note: The Revolution failed New English fans yet again, being defeated by the Houston Dynamo 2-1 in the Major League Soccer championship game. Weep, petty northeasterners, while I lord this result over you. Ha, ha, ha, ha!

… … … …

This would be a lot more satisfying if Americans actually cared about soccer (football).

2. It is worth noting that soccer (football) will always be more popular in America than wooden shoes racing:

Wooden shoes race

3. The Miami Dolphins lose again to fall to 0-10. 6 games until immortality, and what a long 6 games that will be.

  1. The Dolphins have the Jets in 2 weeks, at home. I sense a “trap” game in the quest for perfection.

  2. That is the single gayest sport picture I have ever seen. And I’ve watched gymnastics.

Again, the Dolphins and Patriots need to maintain perfect symmetry. The only chance the Dolphins have to win is when the Pats lose. It would be poetic if it was the Dolphins that stopped the Patriots.

That said, Brady-Moss are just a wrecking crew right now. Who the hell can stop them? IF the Patriots stay healthy, nobody has a chance until the playoffs. Then the Packers, Colts, or Cowboys might give them a good game.

I wish the Bowl weren’t in Arizona, as that would give the Cowboys or Packers an advantage.

Go Pats, stay healthy! Most amazing year of football I have seen from them, ever.

  4. @Wahrheit: Let’s hope the Jets are the Jets that beat the Steelers then. (I think the Jets are better than 2-8. But the Dolphins aren’t really as bad as 0-10, either.)

@BDK: I don’t like the Pats, but not so much that I wouldn’t mind them having a perfect season if it meant the Dolphins went 0-16.

The Pats are the best team I’ve ever seen, in any sport. They are so much better than everyone else, it’s not funny.
