The dream’s still alive!

This was one of those “landmine” games where the Dolphins could have easily ruined their quest for immortality. Instead, they dodge a bullet, losing to the Bills 13-10 on a field goal with 46 seconds left. They are now 0-9.

They must now carry the mantle, since the previously winless Rams beat the Saints today.

It is perfect parity: as long as they remain winless, the Patriots will remain undefeated. It is a kind of Kosmic reacharound thing arcing between 1972 dolphins and the present day.

The sad part is that I don’t think either are going to happen. Well, I don’t care about the Pats very much, but the Dolphins…they gotta pull this off. But they’re probably not bad enough to manage it.
