Three more blogs “honored” by Liquid Egg Product
These I stumbled on more-or-less randomly. They fit under Link Criterion #2: interesting enough so that I’m now making it a point to visit their site at least once a week. (Link Criterion #1 is that the author’s a family member or friend. This explains why ROTK is still linked, even though it hasn’t been updated since May.)
These first two guys come from different sides of the fence.
BlackSun is a staunch atheist (despite the name, the author is white) with an eye-catching website. It’s a rather different animal from the other links, being quite heavy and serious. In fact, I have no hard evidence that the guy even has a sense of humor. If you need a break from my silliness, it works.
Batman…er, I mean, l3ruce Wayne (sorry to blow your cover, buddy!) is a strong advocate of ID (intelligent design). He just started blogging last month, and is putting some gusto into it. He plays chess, and I need to test his skill on FICS sometime.
The third guy, Shazgood, is Irish, which means he drinks and says “begorrah” a lot. He started his WordPress blog 3 days after I did (we’re brothers, man!). The page is rather attractive, and was also found via chess tag channels. But there’s other stuff, too.
Hey Donnie, thanks for the props. I know this is an old post, but I’ve been away for a little while. Just for your info, Black Sun Journal does have a small but growing humor section

Random Fact: egg white makes good paper glue. Apparently. But, then, you’d know all about that Liquid Egg! Brother!

@BlackSun: Must have missed the humor section. Well, good to know you do laugh. On occasion. BTW, I saw the “@someone” designator for the first time on your site. Very handy.
@Shazgood: Actually, I didn’t know that. I asked the Mascot about it and he groaned in agony. He doesn’t like the word to be spread, because people keep asking him to crack his head open when they run out of glue.
Every time seeing “Brother!”, Hulk Hogan grunting it keeps going through my head.

Well im the only one who hasn’t responded to the honors you have bestowed, so I guess I should change that. Thx for the strong advocate and gusto bits, was very flatterd when I read it. Then I realised this was coming from the liquid egg product site of all places. naturaly my readership plummeted as a result of this review.(Just joking, you make fun of you’r site so well, it just seems natural to join in. I find it a fun blog myself.)
Looking forward to that skill testing on fics.:-)

Self-deprecation is an essential part of the site, and it’s a joy when readers join in mocking the mediocrity.
Yes, I still need to get on FICS. You will see me eventually! For the next month or so, life will be especially hectic…
