Only one game is not reflected is Wahrheit vs. Wang, and I might have missed that result:

So there’s a four-way tie for first in the Dr. Gene Ray division. There’s not an easy way to resolve the tiebreaker either, except for…more games!

This will be a mini-playoff format. If your game isn’t played to a conclusion, just play again until you do reach one. The matchups and colors were determined randomly:

Tom vs Chessaholic
Polly vs Blunderprone

Then the winner of these two games would play, and the winner of THAT game…is the winner of the Dr. Gene Ray division.

In the Alex Chiu division, it’s much simpler. The winner of Wahrheit and Wang would still tie Ivan points-wise. But Ivan’s beaten Wahrheit, so he’d win the head-to-head matchup. But if Wang wins, since he’s beaten Ivan, he’d win the division.

And, uh, congratulations on Sciurus winning a $5 McDonald’s gift card. (Takchess is MIA with a couple forfeit losses, so I don’t think he’ll be claiming his.) If you want to claim it, I’ll get Allen to get in touch with you.

    Yes I can play then but will have to be done by 6:30pm EST or so. I have to be at church between 6:30 and 7pm. That means that you will have to beat me quickly.

    I could play Sunday evening. Monday evening is chess club. I need to play by Tuesday because I’m going to be up in Canada with family. I don’t know what the internet situation will be.

    Tom and I had a fun game in which he played pretty aggressive chess. He made an early knight sac on the kingside on move 8, getting two pawns out of it (of which he gave one back later on). The sac didn’t really pay off though and I managed to win after trading down and opening up his kingside. Will post soon.

    To be fair, I’m probably the one who should be forfeited against Takchess,as I tried to play him from a library computer and it didn’t work, and we haven’t been able to get together since…I’ll be playing Wang ASAP. Sorry about the delays!

    Blunder I totally forgot that I was going to try to play on Tuesday. Internet situation is fine up here. I might be able to play one evening, but would probably need to be at 10 pm. What day might work?
