Already more than halfway through! I’m missing a handful of scores, so let me know and I’ll update (OR, I missed some that were already revealed.)

Rushing; some of your comments need responding to. Like explaining why the Wilson Gambit is relevant.

  1. Chessaholic,

When are you available and what time zone are you in? I am available most nights and I am in the EST time zone.

  2. Hi Tom,

I’m in the PST time zone. How does tomorrow (Tuesday) at 7 PM PST/10 PM EST work for you?

  4. Polly: I am busy Tue and Thu nights. Everything after 8pm EST should work for me, I suppose you are living in EST, too, right?

Donnie: Sorry for not getting back to you last week. Turned out I had to work over the weekend.

  5. Chessaholic,

Tomorrow and 7pm PST/10pm EST will work for me. See you then.

  6. Donnie - Congrats for beating yourself? (I think there is a typo in the results table).

  7. @Sciurus: NP. I’m sure we’ll do battle later.

@Tacticus: Yes, I’m just that good. (Or that bad, however you want to view it.)

    Anyway, thanks, it’s corrected.

@Everyone: Of course, don’t worry about late games. With Philly and Polly in South Korea, I probably should have just made this a bye week for everyone.

  8. I was looking at the results closely as I was updating the Liquid Egg Product Tournament 2 book. It currently has all of the games I know of….

  9. OK, cool. I still need to run through the LEP-Wang game, but see you already got it.

  10. I was able to defeat Chessaholic tonight.

  11. I was looking at the standings and noticed that there is a chance of a 3 or even a 4 way tie in the Gene Ray division if Chessaholic and BlunderProne draw in their game. That would be an interesting development.

  12. Ooops. Tom and I were just getting started when I let him mate me in one. It’s all because LEP jinxed me.

Nicely done Tom. Will post the game on my blog.

  13. Donnie–I’m going to have to join the chorus of postponements for a few days. Gone all weekend, starting tomorrow afternoon. How late at night can you play (and what time zone are you in these days?). If all else fails, I’ll play you on Sat. or Sun. afternoon next week. Also, Takchess and I had a series of near misses, and I’ve promised that I’ll make him up too. I found out that the library computers don’t connect with FICS…

    Talk to ya soon.

  14. @Wahrheit: Let’s just shoot for next week. I’ll be in the Central Time Zone. I can start as late as midnight central (as I recall you are pretty late). The weekends are more flexible.

@Tom/Chessaholic: It is fascinating, and I hope it won’t come to that ;) Actually, no big deal; we’ll have some sort of tiebreaker.

  15. Takchess,

What time zone are you in?

I can play today at 11 pm or midnight Central Time
