The breaking news is over on Chessaholic’s blog…
A preview:
“Don’t worry, they have confirmed that the chance that a sustainable black hole will form and consume the earth is quite small.”
Reply to RT SoloThe number of unlucky people in the world is high enough. Get your popcorn ready.
Reply to DonnieThe interesting thing I’ve heard is that if the media had looked into this story seriously early on (Heard something about their being longstanding reports or something that have been ignored) then with Edwards out of the running in Iowa Hillary might have won there and eventually gotten the nomination. I guess we will never know.
Reply to l3rucewayneSo…. how many people do you think knew it was a country and not just an American state?
Reply to Allen@l3rucewayne: Yeah, I saw that, it’s probably true. Clinton would have basically walked through; Obama probably needed the initial win to be competitive.
@Allen: 1/3 was the first number that came to mind.
But when whenever they do those surverys of Americans’ knowledge of geography, we’re always more terribad than I could fathom. Probably more like 1/8.
Reply to Donniei thought the big news was the deaths of bernie mac and isaac hayes…
Reply to chessloserHmmm. But were they white enough to make breaking news in American media? That’s the first question I’d ask.
