“Wango” is the handle of Paul Truong, I believe. But he’s also “Jonnyrotten”, “007Guy”, “Petetownshend”, “Marsblackmon”, “Lovemissile”, “Sexybeast”, and “Themeganmccain”. I wouldn’t worry too much unless one of the last two starts stalking you.

Becoming a professional requires a full-time job commitment and incredible talent. Pretty much like any the NBA, really. Except basketball stars can get more groupies and shoe endorsements.

The top GMs train with and plan openings with “lesser” GMs (seconds). I don’t know quite everything they go through. They say physical exercise is rather important.

Supposedly the Korean pro starcraft gamers play for 8 hours a day minimum (they recommend 12 hours). That’s according to the vid Donnie gave us about a Korean celebrity wanting to be a pro gamer. I wonder if you have to do similar things to be a pro chess player.
