What I do during work
A couple years ago, we were making fun of T.O.’s fan club at work. All of a sudden, the above page popped up on our department’s wiki.
Yes, I got paid for doing that. Mysteriously, no one ever signed up, even though it cost only half of T.O’s club.
But don’t ask if you can join the DB Fan Club. Its demise was generally attributed to the failure to emphasize that the prunes were already pitted.
Copywriting - it’s a fine art.
BTW, is this related to the v!agra-c!al!s-etc ad you put on my blog?

damn, i really wanted those pencils. i hate prunes, but i do love dried plums…

@Derek: Unrelated. But it’s probably junk like that caused Akismet to say “This Egg guy’s comments must be worthless.”
chessloser must be thrilled to be referred to as “etc”.
@chessloser: Those pencils were just CG art anyway, so you didn’t miss out on too much.
